Man Mile
(an award) An award given at some Alpha Phi Omega conferences to the chapter that has brought the most people the farthest distance [ie, maximal ((# of Actives) x (miles between chapter and conference))]. At sectional conferences, a single person from a distant chapter in another region could easily beat out all local competitors, so the award is often given twice, once for in-section and once for out-of-section participants.
