Chapters who do not fulfill their reporting and financial obligations are not in compliance and therefore are not considered in good standing with the fraternity. Chapters not in good standing are not allowed to vote at sectional, regional and national business meetings and legislative sessions. After two years of nonpayment, the national fraternity may declare a chapter inactive. (from the Region III Advisor's Guide)
